I don't have a business or organisation can I still train with Resus Ready?
Yes, Resus Ready First Aid Training offers onsite training to all groups. Whether it is your business, organisation, mother’s group, community classes or just a group of friends or family that want to learn CPR and First Aid skills.
Resus Ready First Aid Training comes to your business, organisation, community center or home and offers you the best in first aid and CPR training.
Resus Ready also offers open to public courses for individuals in Ringwood at Waterman Eastland every Friday. Check out our booking page for more details.
What if I don't have an appropriate area to train my group in?
Resus Ready First Aid Training requires an area of approx 6m x 6m of hard surface or carpeted area to train on, chairs for all participants, one working powerpoint, a table and access to kitchen and toilet facilities.
If you do not have an appropriate area to train in we can find a location close to your business, organisation or group. (Please note that if you are choosing this option then the 10% discount for onsite group bookings does not apply). For offsite group bookings we require a minimum of 10 participants.
Is your CPR and First Aid Courses the same as Red Cross and St Johns Ambulance Courses?
Resus Ready First Aid Training offer the same Nationally Recognised courses and you will receive the same statement of attainment for completing our courses.
Resus Ready First Aid Training is partnered with Allens Training PTY LTD which is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO # 90909).
You can be assured you will receive the best training with all of our courses being Nationally Recognised by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA). All statements of attainment are valid anywhere in Australia.
When do I receive my certificate?
To receive your Nationally Recognised statement of attainment you must provide your USI number, successfully complete the online assessments and be competent in all practical and written assessments during the face-to-face training day.
In most cases you will receive your certificate on the same day as your face to face assessment provided you have successfully completed the online training component and the face to face assessment. You will receive your certificate via Training Desk where you will be able to print a copy for yourself as many times as you like.
When will I know to renew my certificate?
An email reminder will be sent closer to your renewal time.

What do I need to do before my face to face training?
The online training and theory assessment component must be completed prior to attending the face to face training.
Please arrive on time to your class. Important information relating to your safety and the course is discussed at the beginning of class and you do not want to miss out on any information that you will be assessed on.
What do I need to bring to class?
Resus Ready is endevouring to reduce our paper wastage and so our paper based assessments have moved to electronic.
Please bring with you:
- photo ID
- remember your username and password for your training desk login (where you completed your online work)
- a mobile smartphone or tablet device
- wear comfortable clothing (please note that you will be simulating first aid on the ground for part of your training)
- for classes longer than 3 hours please bring lunch and any snacks to eat during breaks
- bring a pen and notepad if you wish to take notes during class.

What is a USI?
A USI is a Unique Student Identifier number which is issued by the Australian Government.
The USI is a reference number made up of 10 digits that:
- creates a secure online record of your recognised training and qualifications gained in Australia, from all training providers you undertake recognised training with
- will give you access to your training records and transcripts
- can be accessed online anytime and anywhere
- is free and easy to create and
- stays with you for life
Anyone who wishes to complete a Nationally Recognised course requires a USI number as of 2015.
Do I need a USI number and where do I go to create it?
Yes, all students undertaking Nationally Recognised training need to obtain and supply a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
A USI can be created at usi.gov.au
If a USI is not supplied and verified with usi.gov.au a statement of attainment for your course cannot be issued to you.
